Maverick League
Our Maverick Coach-Pitch instructional co-ed division is the step between T-Ball and Pinto. Our rule set allows for players to get the opportunity to hit off of a coach, but if they are unsuccessful, a tee can be setup. It's a great opportunity for players to learn the game in a low stress environment.
- No Scores: Scores are not kept, and rules are not strictly enforced
- Game Play: Every player bats in every inning and plays the field in every inning
- Coach-Pitch: Coaches will pitch to each batter ~4-5 pitchers before the tee is brought in to encourage development with their swing and progression with the game.
Ages
Co-Ed 5/6 years (Kindergarten)
When
Most sessions are scheduled on Saturday mornings. At times, games may also be scheduled during the week typically at 5:45p.
Where
Lemont Centennial Park fields
Practices
Practices are at the coaches discretion, but LBSC recommends that the teams hold practices once per week throughout the season.
